【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheselection,installation,inspection,commissioningandmaintenanceofgas?firedboilersforcentralheatingandotherpurposes,whichhaveatotalratedheatinputnotexceeding70kW,basedonnetcalorificvalue.Thisincludescookerswithintegralboilersusedtoprovidecentralheating.Itappliestoboilersutilizing1st,2ndor3rdfamilygasesdesignedtooperateinthecondensingornon?condensingmodefortheheatingofdomesticdwellingsordomesticdwellingsincommercialpremisesbythecirculationofheatedwaterinopenorclosedsystems.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto:boilerswitharatedinputofover70?kW;?groupsofboilerswithindividualratingsof70kWorlessbutwithaggregateinputsofover70kWasspecifiedinBS6644.NOTE1Groupsofboilerswithindividualratingsof70kWorlessbutwithaggregateinputsoflessthan70kWmaybeinstalledtothisstandardbutspecialistadviceonthesystemdesign,installationandcontrolneedstobesoughtfromtheappliancemanufacturer.Itdoesnotcoverthedetaileddesignandinstallationofthewholeheatingsystem,whichisspecifiedinBS5449.NOTE2WiththepublicationofEN12828,EN12831andEN14336itisnecessaryforBS5449tobedeclaredobsolescentandtobewithdrawnwithintwoyears.TheseEuropeanStandards,whichhavenowbeenadoptedasBritishStandards,arenotalignedtoUKdesignandinstallationpractices;theycovercommercialaswellasdomesticheatingsystemsandexcludehotwater.Consequently,theyarebeingamendedtoincludenationalannexescoveringalltherelevantmaterialfromBS5449.NOTE3Theinstallationofboilerswitharatedinputgreaterthan70kWiscoveredbyBS6644.AdditionalrequirementsfortheinstallationofbackboilerunitsarespecifiedinBS5871?1andBS5871-2.ThisstandardappliestoboilerswhichcarryaCEmarkandalsotopreviouslyusedboilerswhichdonotcarrytheCEmark(see4.2.1).NOTE4Inthisstandard,heatinputisexpressedintermsofnetcalorificvalues(CV),unlessstatedotherwise.Theratioofgrosstonetheatinputisapproximately1.11:1fornaturalgas,1.09:1forpropane,and1.08:1forbutane.NOTE5Itisessentialthatpersonscarryingouttheinstallationofanygasappliancebecompetenttodoso.AnnexAgivesinformationaboutthelegalrequirementswhichrelatetoapprovedoperativesandgasappliances.NOTE6Somepartsofthisstandardmightbeappropriatefortheinstallationofpoolandspaheaters.Themanufacturer’sinstructionsmayadvisewhichpartsarenotappropriate.Forexample,fordirectspaandpoolheaters,nocorrosioninhibitorsorchemicalcleaningarepermitted.
