【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversestablishmentofrequirements,testmethods,andmarkingrequirementstopromotesafeuseofaninfantbouncerseatbyanoccupantandacaregiver.1.2Forpurposesofthisconsumersafetyspecification,aninfantbouncerseatisafreestandingproductintendedtosupportanoccupantinareclinedpositiontofacilitatebouncingbytheoccupant,withtheaidofacaregiverorbyothermeans.Intendedoccupantsareinfantswhohavenotdevelopedtheabilitytositupunassisted(approximately0to6monthsofage).1.3Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizetheriskofinjurytoanoccupantresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofaninfantbouncerseat.1.4Noinfantbouncerseatproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisnotintendedtoaddressincidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofotherpersonswiththeoccupantinaninfantbouncerseatortheincidentsresultingfromabuseormisusebyotherchildren.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
